Pixiu is a mythological creature from China who is rumored to bring good luck to businesses.

Pixiu eats and eats and eats -- but never poops or pees. So basically, he brings in lots and lots of abundance, and never lets any of it go.

Does anyone else find that hilariously cool? When I heard that story, I completely fell in love with Pixiu. So now he's my publishing logo.

I figure that not having the change diapers/empty the litter box would take half the work out of raising them.

And I'm reminded of Captain Corcoran of the HMS Pinafore: "What, never?" "No, never!" "What, never?" "Hardly ever!" :)

I worry about the name, though. It's not easy to spell, and people may confuse it with Pikachu, the famous Pokemon.

It has occured to me that PIXIU isn't the easiest to spell or remember...but I like him, so for now I'm sticking with him. :)
