09:02 pm - PIXIU Press - research I figure before I start publishing books by other authors, first I need to experiment with my own and figure out the best ways to sell them. My free teaching curriculum program seems to be generating some interest, though I do need to do a better job at getting the books in front of educators. That means more education conferences. I've got my eye on a few for the next school year. I just finished reading Aiming at Amazon by Aaron Shepard -- good stuff! He outlines in detail strategies at selling your book specifically through Amazon. His book is mostly aimed at people selling non-fiction, but there's enough juicy tidbits for those selling fiction as well. Now I just need some time so I can start implmenting them. This is when I wish I had a laptop with wireless -- I could do this work while breast feeding the baby. Have I mentioned her feedings last anywhere from 45 minutes to 1-1/2 hour, 5 times a day?
